Samsung has confirmed the update for Samsung Galaxy S2 devices to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) in coming months.But Samsung did not reveal the exact date of release . However sources say that the update will hit this December or Jan 2012. Samsung mentioned this in a tweet,
“Hi, good news – the Galaxy S II will be receiving ICS, but there are no dates confirmed as yet. We will keep you posted”
The update will first hit UK and other countries will be receiving the update after one week. As said by Samsung , we have to wait for further updates. Samsung Galaxy S II has all the specifications and power to run Android 4.0. Galaxy Nexus has already hit the UK markets with Andorid 4.0 and doing a good business.
Let us wait for some more time till we receive any updates from Samsung. But it is a time to enjoy for all Samsung fans out there.
