Windows user’s mostly select using ctrl for selecting multiple items because in windows 7 check box is not enabled by default. This post might help users to enable the check box feature.
Fellow Steps:
Step 1: Open My computer.
Step 2: Select folder and search option from organize.
Step 3: New folder options windows might open, then select view tab.
Step 4: Scroll your mouse till the last in advanced settings.
Step 5: Enable use check boxes to select items.
