Nokia eyes Belle for Symbian Update

Nokia has been keen on concentrating over Symbian phones eventhough Nokia -Windows Phone  deal was signed. Last month Nokia released Symbian Anna as an update for Symbian S^3 . This update proved to be a gain for Nokia. Symbian Users got a new look and feel with this OS update.

Now Nokia is planning to release the Symbian Belle devices Nokia 501 , 700 and 701. These devices will be having Microsoft Apps , a collection of Microsoft Software that will include Microsoft Lync 2010 Mobile, Microsoft PowerPoint Broadcast, Microsoft OneNote, and Microsoft Document Connection. More apps will come in 2012 with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint being part of the group.

Nokia will also release Symbian belle as an update for Anna in late Q4 this year. Let us hope that Nokia will boost up the Symbian Platform and thus regain its position in the Mobile platform.
