Google Transliteration – Easy Way to Type in Your Language

Google Transliteration is an application by Google Labs. It was first seemed in Google’s eminent blogging service Blogger. Later on it was derived into being as a separate online tool. After its popularity, was entrenched in Gmail & Orkut.

Google released its Offline toolGoogle Transliteration IME in December, 2009. You can Download Google IME for your OS and Language.

Now Google IME is currently available for 22 different languagesAmharic, Arabic, Bengali, Farsi (Persian), Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Serbian, Sinhalese, Tamil, Telugu, Tigrinya and Urdu.

Type a word the way it sounds  from any above language in English and HIT on SPACEBAR to transliteration. It shows multiple choices from dictionary for related word you type and also it shows for special characters.
